is an award winning artist and author of books for children. Kosa’s passion goes beyond creating the books. She enjoys hosting storytelling events and visiting schools as a guest author.

The Peaceable Forest, India’s Tale of Kindness to Animals, book and multimedia presentation, is a favorite for school author visits.

Kosa is presently illustrating two new animal storybooks and she is writing her first book for Young Adults (YA).

The Prince and the Polestar, Kosa’s first illustrated book, continues to be a enjoyed by children around the world.

Kosa paints in oil, pastel, and watercolor. She also plays with inks, colored pencils and any other art supplies she can get her hands on.

In 1998 Kosa founded Arts of Vaishnava Culture, an educational non-profit to support the arts and artists of the Vaishnava tradition for generations to come.

Kosa’s husband of thirty-plus years is a celebrated kirtan singer and music teacher. Kosa and Bada Haridas travel internationally to teach sacred music seminars and perform at festivals. Their kids are also artists and writers.

Kosa loves traveling, singing, meditation, sailing, playing tennis, yoga, reading books and storytelling.
