Is an award winning artist and author of books for children. Kosa’s passion includes not only creating the books, but also marketing them so they reach their intended audience.
The Peaceable Forest, India’s Tale of Kindness to Animals, was released September 2012. Animals Love Vegetarians will be available January 2014, along with a video channel for vegetarian kids to be inspired by one another.
The Prince and the Polestar, Kosa’s first illustrated book, continues to be a favorite, reaching children around the world.
Kosa paints in oil, pastel, and watercolor. She also plays with inks, colored pencils and any other art supplies she can get her hands on. You can find some of her creations under the Art tab.
In 1998 Kosa founded Arts of Vaishnava Culture, an educational non-profit to support the arts and artists of the Vaishnava tradition for generations to come.
Kosa’s husband of thirty-plus years is a celebrated kirtan singer and music teacher. Kosa and Bada Haridas travel internationally to teach sacred music seminars and perform at festivals. Their kids are also artists and writers.
Kosa loves traveling, singing, meditation, sailing, playing tennis, yoga, reading books and storytelling.
